ARREST MADE IN NIŠ MURDER CASE: Police Investigate Motive, Attacker Previously Known to Authorities!

A suspect in the murder of Aleksandra Šarković was arrested this morning in the Niš municipality of Palilula, Nova.rs has learned.

As a reminder, the woman was killed this morning by gunfire while returning home by car after taking her child to school.

She was a businesswoman from Niš. Her husband, Dejan Šarković, was killed in a bomb explosion in Niš in 2017.

Šarković had previously been known to the police, as criminal charges had been filed against him in the past.

Niš police are continuing to investigate the motive behind the murder of Aleksandra.
