Novak Djokovic continues to write tennis history.
With a victory in the third round of Roland Garros against Filip Mišlić, the Serb secured a spot in the round of 16. This marks his 20th consecutive season reaching the Top 16 stage in at least two Grand Slams.
Previously, only the legendary Swiss Roger Federer had achieved this feat.
Interestingly, Novak has also matched a personal best for Grand Slam triumphs, as he now has the same number of wins at Roland Garros as at the Australian Open – an impressive 99.
He will have the chance to achieve his milestone 100th triumph in Paris as early as Monday. His opponent in the round of 16 will be Cameron Norrie.
