A plane carrying 250 Serbian citizens evacuated from Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain has landed at Belgrade Airport from Doha.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the Government of the Republic of Serbia, successfully organized another evacuation flight, bringing 250 Serbian citizens safely from Doha to Belgrade Airport, the ministry announced.

The evacuees are Serbian citizens who were in Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain at the time.

State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Damjan Jović, who coordinated the evacuation, earlier stated from Doha that with this complex logistical operation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia continues its series of evacuation flights from war-affected areas in the Middle East.

“This is so far the most demanding operation, in logistical terms, that we have carried out. Throughout the night, we transported our people and moved them from Bahrain and Kuwait through Saudi Arabia to Doha. These are very complex procedures, but here we are, everyone is on board,” Jović explained.
