After a video surfaced showing a private celebration inside an ambulance belonging to the Health Center “St. Luka” in Smederevo, the management of the institution issued a statement. They announced that the head of transportation services, Srđan Stefanović, has been suspended and removed from his managerial position.

“Regarding the video that appeared on social media, showing a private celebration in an ambulance in which, among others, the head of transportation and logistics in the medical transport service of the Health Center took part, the management of the Health Center categorically and explicitly distances itself from such behavior of employees involved in the event, as it is completely unacceptable and contrary to the standards and values of the healthcare system.

The management of the healthcare institution has already taken measures to sanction such conduct. The head of transportation and logistics in the medical transport service of the Health Center has been issued a decision on temporary suspension from work, and will also be dismissed from his managerial position, in accordance with the Law, in order to send a clear message about the unacceptability of such actions. This event represents a serious violation of work discipline and professional integrity, and as such will not be tolerated. We are also in the process of determining the responsibility of other employees who participated in this event,” reports sdcafe.rs.
To recall, a party was organized two nights ago inside an ambulance in Smederevo, and according to media reports, the occasion was the bachelor party of the head of the Technical Service of the Health Center in this city, Srđan Stefanović. A video from the “ambulance celebration” has been circulating on social media, and Stefanović, otherwise a member of the Serbian Progressive Party, told Nova.rs that he is not the person appearing in the video, that everything was staged against him, that he knows who is behind the setup, but does not know their motives.
