Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz responded to Novak Djokovic at a press conference after his victory over Corentin Moutet, continuing the story about “copyrights” on the serve.

The story about Carlos Alcaraz’s serve, which allegedly resembles Novak Djokovic’s, continues to provoke smiles and attract great attention in the tennis world.

After Djokovic jokingly commented on the situation a few days ago, the Spanish tennis player decided to respond in kind.

At the time, Novak said that he had contacted the Spaniard regarding “copyrights.”

“As soon as I saw it, I sent him a message. I told him that we had to talk about copyrights. And here I told him that we also had to talk about a percentage of his earnings. For every ace, he has to give me a percentage. Let’s see if he sticks to the agreement.”

Alcaraz smiled as he spoke about the message he received from the world’s best tennis player.

“I have the contract here in my pocket, I have to show it to you,” Alcaraz joked at the press conference after his win over Corentin Moutet.

“Novak sent me a message, and when I saw it, I found it very amusing. When you look at our serves, they really are similar. I think Djokovic serves very well, his motion is simple and I’ve always liked it. Of course, that doesn’t mean that I copied anything or modeled myself after him. I simply changed things this way,” the Spanish tennis player concluded.
