Snow has covered central Europe during the last few days, which has led to difficulties in air traffic.

The airport in Bratislava is closed due to weather conditions today until 11:15 a.m., they announced on their Facebook account.

Icy conditions in central Europe forced staff to close Vienna International Airport until at least 11 a.m.

Also, Václav Havel Airport in Prague has restricted operations.

The airport in Budapest was also temporarily closed due to ice, the airport announced on its Facebook page on Tuesday.

As a reminder, during the previous days, all important European airports were affected, and the situation was particularly critical in countries like Germany, Greece, and Great Britain.

The Dutch airport Schiphol canceled more than 700 flights due to snow and frozen runways.

The situation was also critical in France at Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports due to heavy snowfall in that area.

Problems were also recorded at the Italian airport Bergamo Orio al Serio, when hundreds of people slept on the floors due to flight cancellations.

Air traffic in Serbia faced challenges, but to a significantly lesser extent compared to some major European and world airports.
