Director Radoš Bajić, winner of two prestigious awards in London, was a guest on the “Kec na jedanaest” show on K1 television, where he talked about the great successes of his film “Heroes of Halyard”. At the international festival in London, Bajić won the award for best international film and best director.
– It’s truly an exceptional success for our film and Serbian cinematography. Winning two such prestigious awards at an international festival in London is a huge recognition for me, my colleagues, and my team members – stated Bajić.
In addition, Bajić revealed that the film “Heroes of Halyard” will soon be distributed in the United States.
– It’s wonderful that we’re talking about awards from the Mira Ban Film Festival in London, but just twenty days before the start of US distribution, our film is one of the few Serbian films to have secured an American distributor. It’s a distribution company from Beverly Hills, and the film will be shown in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand – Bajić revealed.
Radoš also announced that in the world version of the film “Heroes of Halyard”, which is prepared for the American market, all the characters will speak English.

– At the end of January, I expect the first results – he added, emphasizing that there are many more exciting phases ahead for the film.
In the show, he also announced an exclusive. He called from Petlovac, more precisely from Radašin’s courtyard, where the popular series “Selo gori, a baba se češlja” was filmed.
– You found me in Petlovac, in the village of Kukrin, at the main building of Radašin’s courtyard, where I came to visit my aunt Stana. She’s a bit sick, and I’m here in my homeland because it’s Saint Nicholas’ Day tomorrow. Like most Serbs, I’m not celebrating, but I’m going to a slava. More than 250 days of shooting the series were spent at this location – Bajić said on the “Kec na jedanaest” show on K1 television.
