Transporter Milomir Jaćimović is ending his hunger strike, after nine days of striking in front of the Assembly of Vojvodina.

He stated that he will remain in front of the Assembly of Vojvodina until Friday, and if his buses are not returned, he will call citizens to Belgrade and join Dijana Hrka in front of the Assembly of Serbia, writes Danas.

After all his buses were confiscated and fines amounting to millions were issued, Jaćimović began a hunger strike that lasted nine days.

Earlier today, Milan Jaćimović, the minor son of the transporter Milomir Jaćimović, was released after questioning at the Stari grad Police Station in Novi Sad. He left the station with a lawyer around 5 PM. The minor son of Milomir Jaćimović was detained for disturbing public order and peace, and a misdemeanor charge will most likely be filed against him. He is charged with throwing eggs at the special vehicle that drove away his father’s bus last night.

He was also injured last night during a police intervention that assisted in driving away their bus.
