“The man lives in Menden but has Serbian and Montenegrin citizenship. Investigators describe him as a large man with dark hair and brown eyes. It is possible that he has a firearm, so citizens are advised to be especially careful. The police are looking for any information about his current location,” German media reported, adding that a European arrest warrant has been issued for him.
Is the number of victims not final?
The German police also suspect that the number of victims of this clash is not final. Witnesses told local police officers that they think another person was shot.
