The tragedy in Novi Sad is not forgotten, and an initiative has now united millions.
The humanitarian organization “28th of June” has launched a campaign to help families affected by the tragedy in Novi Sad.
The collapse of the canopy at Novi Sad Railway Station resulted in the death of 14 people and injuries to three others. As a result, a campaign has been launched to help the affected families.
The video has been viewed by over 3.2 million people in less than 24 hours, and one of those who shared it was Nemanja Gudelj, a Serbian national team player.

“On November 1, 2024, Novi Sad was struck by a tragedy that shook us all. At a moment that was supposed to be an ordinary part of life, the lives of fourteen innocent people were extinguished forever.
Among them were Andjela Ruman (20) and her boyfriend Miloš Milosavljević (21), who dreamed of a future together, but their dreams were forever extinguished under the railway station canopy.
The most heartbreaking scene from the accident is the one where a grandfather hugged his granddaughters, Tina and Sara, for the last time in his final moments. These scenes will remain etched in our hearts, reminding us of the pain their families are going through.
Đorđe, the father of Tina and Sara, had to find the strength to identify the bodies of his daughters and father. His family is in immense pain and needs support to cope with their loss.
The tragedy also took Mileva Karanović, who as a young widow raised her children and watched her loved ones leave. Now she is gone forever, leaving behind children and grandchildren who will forever miss her tenderness and love.
