ACO ĐUKANOVIĆ BEHIND BARS: Brother of Milo Đukanović Arrested for Illegal Weapons, Here’s the Arsenal He Possessed!

Businessman Aco Đukanović, the brother of Milo Đukanović, was arrested on suspicion of the criminal offense of unauthorized possession and carrying of weapons and explosive materials, confirmed by the Police Directorate and the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Nikšić.

“There is grounded suspicion that A.Đ. kept weapons and ammunition unlawfully in his home in Nikšić,” the Prosecutor’s Office stated, under whose order Đukanović was arrested.

“Police officers from the Police Directorate – Crime Fighting Sector, with support from the Special Police Unit and inspectors from the Regional Security Centers ‘Center’ and ‘West,’ conducted searches yesterday and overnight in multiple properties and premises, based on court and local prosecutor orders in Podgorica and Nikšić used by A.Đ. (60), residing in Podgorica,” the statement read, as reported by Vijesti.

Several lawyers were present during the searches.

During searches in Podgorica, police seized certain documentation, which has been reported to the competent prosecutor’s office. A case will be opened for further proceedings.

Further actions by SBPK officers in Nikšić led to the discovery of a large quantity of firearms and ammunition in the family house in Rastoci, including:

Hunting carbine “Mauser” with optical sight, illegal possession
Rifle “Brno” with Busnell optical sight, illegal possession
Unknown brand shotgun, illegal possession
Unknown brand pistol, illegal possession
Hunting carbine “M-48”, illegal possession
Pistol “CZ 99 PARA” with magazine containing five rounds and a weapons permit in the name of a deceased family member
Over 400 rounds of various ammunition
Three empty magazines
Five protective ballistic vests
Zeiss binoculars

Đukanović will be brought before the prosecutor within the legal deadline for further proceedings.
