The MONARCHISTS Alliance – Movement for the Kingdom of Serbia announced that the maintenance costs of the state villas where Ana Brnabić and Tomislav Nikolić live, as well as the financing of the Office of the National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with Russia and China, exceed the amount that the state previously allocated for the maintenance of the entire Royal Complex in Dedinje.
The statement notes that the 2026 budget proposal has, for the first time, abolished the financing for the maintenance of the Royal Complex, even though, as they claim, the state is legally obliged to care for it as a cultural monument of special significance.
At the same time, according to their allegations, the budget provides 45 million dinars for the office of Tomislav Nikolić, for which, as they say, the public has no insight into its work.

Co-president of the Monarchists and Member of Parliament for the NADA coalition, Dušan Radosavljević, stated that when the maintenance costs for the villas where Brnabić and Nikolić live with their families are included, the total amount exceeds the funds necessary for the maintenance of the entire Royal Complex.
“Ana Brnabić and Tomislav Nikolić, who live with their entourage and servants in seized villas, cost this people more than the entire Royal Complex in Dedinje. If Prince Filip’s critical words were not the reason for cutting the finances for the Palace, but rather a desire for savings, then one should have started with these two first,” Radosavljević stated, as reported in the press release.
He also reminded that the Karađorđević family, as he stated, lives as a tenant in its own ‘patrimony’ which was taken from them after World War II and has not been returned in the restitution process, assessing that the decay of the Royal Complex is simultaneously being allowed while significant funds are being allocated for the accommodation of certain state officials.
